Informamos que o segundo semestre do PPGOceano de 2023 será de 31 de julho até 1 de dezembro de 2023.

O período de matrícula em disciplinas será de 24 até 28 de julho de 2023 e só serão aprovadas as matrículas cujos alunos apresentarem o ciclo vacinal completo ou comprovante médico de dispensa. Saiba mais AQUI.

As matrículas dos alunos regulares acontecerão de pelo https://capg.ufsc.br/ enquanto houver vagas. Alunos que já cursaram todas as disciplinas devem se matricular em Dissertação (a mesma não gera créditos. Serve para manter o vínculo do aluno no programa).

The professors of the Graduate Program in Oceanography at UFSC – PPGOCEANO-UFSC express their rejection of the misogynistic and homophobic comments involving members of the Graduate Program in Chemistry – PPGQ-UFSC.

This type of statement against segments historically victims of discrimination, segregation and persecution cannot be tolerated within this institution.

In this way, we hope that the PPGQ, the Department of Chemistry, the CFM, the PROPG and the PROAFE investigate the facts, welcome the victims and take the appropriate actions against the aggressor so that such violence is not normalized and does not happen again.

We inform you that the FIRST  semester  of PPGOceano 2023 will be from  MARCH 13 to JUNE 16 .

The enrollment period for disciplines will be from 03/09 to 03/10  and only those enrollments whose students present the complete vaccination cycle or medical proof of waiver will be approved. Learn more HERE.

Enrollment of  regular students  will take place via  https://capg.ufsc.br/  as long as there are vacancies. Students who have already attended all disciplines must enroll in  Dissertation  (it does not generate credits. It serves to maintain the student’s bond in the program).

Cancellation of  regular and special students: send an email to the secretariat with the authorization of the professor of the subject.

The  lesson framework  and  teaching plans  are available at the links. Click on them to find out about locations, times and format of classes. Most courses will be face-to-face. Room D11 is in the teachers’ building.

Students from other UFSC programs:  fill out the   complete Form-enrollment-Aluno-Especial and send an email to ppgoceano@contato.ufsc.br with the form and proof of vaccination or medical justification.

Special students  (who are not affiliated with the UFSC Postgraduate Program): the student must access  www.capg.ufsc.br/inscricao , search for the course and, in the process, select the registration for a single discipline year/period. Afterwards, fill in the data and attach the items (RG, CPF, diploma/certificate and enrollment form signed by the professor of the subject).  Undergraduate students , in addition to the documentation of special students, attach a certificate of attendance. Note: it is not necessary to attach a diploma. OBS.: they must also prove vaccination cycle or justification. See above in the guidelines.

Enrollments can be made up to the first day of the discipline, subject to filling the number of vacancies.

Our master’s student Ligia who won an honor, the Municipal Medal of Protection and Civil Defense “Laurita Pedroso de Oliveira”, from the municipality of Barra Velha. Ligia develops research in the area of ​​coastal erosion and aims to understand coastal erosion in that municipality, research is important not only for understanding the coastal processes in the region, but also for the proper management of the dangers in the area.
